Alberta Maxine Words was born March 1, 1913 to the union of Elisha Mc Donald and Eda Hughes in Parkville, Missouri. She completed only the sixth grade but was very understanding and receptive of the wills of life. She had the desire to live and the desire of life. She spent most of her adult life as a domesticated worker. She touched the lives of many people in the Parkville community with her helping hands, with her smile and with her sense of humor. She was a faithful member of Mt. Washington Missionary Baptist Church in Parkville, Missouri.

She was one of three children. She is now united in Heaven with her parents, sister Ion Davis, brothers Delbert C. McDonald Sr., Thomas Odell Davis Sr. Also preceding her in death son Dalmus Pearl. She departed life on April 5, 2010.

She leaves to mourn sons, Ryland E. Washington (Theresa) of Omaha, Nebraska. Iva W. Pearl Sr. (Louise) of Fort Worth, Texas. John T. Words Sr. of Kansas City, Missouri. Also to mourn are many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren along with a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
