Charles "C.W." Williams, 63, was born March 8, 1947 in Dumas, Arkansas to the union of Otis Williams, Sr. and Luzenne (McHenry) Williams. He was the fifth of eight children born to this marriage. Both his parents, sister Opal (Williams) Watson, brothers Samuel, Otis, Jr. and Eddie Lee, sister in law Geraldine (Nash) Williams proceed him in transition.
Charles received his primary education at A.L. Reed Elementary School in Dumas, Arkansas, the family later moved to Kansas City where he attended Booker T. Washington School, Central Junior High and Lincoln High School.
Charles, worked as an exterior / interior house painter, plumber and for Batliner Paper Company.
He was a very helpful person, a man of few words and a big smile. Charles departed this life the morning of March 18, 2010 at the Plaza Manor Rehabilitation Center.
Charles leaves to cherish his memory two brothers Daniel Ray Williams (Norma) of Kansas City, Kansas and Moses J. Williams Twin Fall, Idaho; two sisters Florence (Williams) Owens of Starz City, Arkansas and Pearlie (Williams) Durr of Kansas City, Missouri; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.
