Mary La Queata Addison was born in Kansas City, Missouri on January 9, 1953 the sixth child of thirteen born to the union of George H. Perkins and Mary E. Sims Perkins. Mary is preceded in death by both parents, her husband Wilbor G. Addison, her nephew Kevin G. Addison Jr. Mary was called to rest on June 26, 2010. She accepted Christ at an early age. Mary held many jobs in the Kansas City, area, the last of which being a certified Nurse's Aide. This job ended in 2008 due to health conditions.

At 57 years young, she leaves to cherish her memories and legacy. 5 children: Doran (Kim) Mills, Trenise Mills, LaQueata, Eboni and Erica Addison. 8 grandchildren: Crystal (Cortez) Hill, Dontay, Dennicka, Christopher Mills, Robert Wright Jr., Keyvonie, Arik and Keyon Addison and 2 great grandchildren. Cortez Hill Jr. and Carma Hill. Her siblings, Renda Williams, Linda Perkins, Larry Perkins, Sondra (Ray) Myers, Diane Perkins, Vanessa Lipsey, Alton Perkins-Bey, Gregory (Annie) Perkins, Terry Nunn, Daniel Perkins, Renwick (Tonya) Perkins, Tracy (Delora) Perkins. Mother in law Martha Addison family and a host of aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
