Otis Charles Mikle

Otis Charles Mikle was born October 6, 1940 in Shreveport, Louisiana to James Mikle, Sr. and Treopie Burton. He joined Galilee Baptist Church at an early age. On June 27, 2010, he departed this life.
Otis married Annie Carter and to this union a son, Otis Charles Mikle, Jr. and daughter, Wanda Elaine Mikle was born. They moved to Kansas City and he worked at Lucky Strike Bowling Alley. He also served in the Military (Army) from 1963 to 1965. He was an Area Manager for Tombs Janitorial Service for 30 years. Later he worked for Countryside Maintenance and John Paul Catholic School. His Mother, Father, and brother Maxie Ray Mikle preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Otis Charles Mikle, Jr., Reginale (Teddy) (Deborah) Marchbanks, daughters, Wanda Elaine Young, Gail Carter and Ebony Mikle. Sister, Gertie Jean Jones (Kansas City, MO.) Brothers, Leo Mikle (Plain Dealing, LA.) Wayne (Darla) Mikle, (Kansas City, MO.) John (Emma) Mikle, (Shreveport, LA.) Larry Mikle (Houston, TX) and Rickey (Shirley) Mikle (Plain Dealing, LA) Uncle Johnny Mikle, (Shreveport, LA) Aunt Ladybird Neal, (Chicago, IL) 20 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren, very special niece Heather Michelle Mikle, special friends, Carme*G and Kenneth (Mike) Roberson, host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Mikle Family. Otis was a wonderful person to talk to about fishing. He often wondered why John threw the big bass he caught back into the water. Otis could talk to anyone and make them feel very comfortable. We loved him and will never forget him. He was loved like a brother.
