Roilanda Louise Jackson (Missy) 41, was born to Roy and Maxine Jackson on February 20, 1969. She attended school in the Kansas City Missouri school district she was employed by Satellite Jantanitorial Services. She worked there for several years, until she was unable to work due to her illness. The Lord blessed Missy with five beautiful children; Roikesia Maxine, Roy Odell, Travana Lorraine, Serenity and Delrese LaShae. May God bless them as they grow in his love.

Missy accepted Christ at an early age. She loved to sing and directed the junior choir at the Olive Street Baptist Church in her youth. She joined the Greater St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church under the guidance of Rev. Nathan Bouie. She attended church whenever she could until her illness intervened. Missy was full of life and a fun loving person. She loved to dress, matching everything from head to toe, she also loved to laugh and have a good time. During her lifetime she made many friends that she loved and they loved her in return. She would offer a helping hand to anyone, she met no strangers.

Missy was preceded in death by her father Roy Jackson, Brother Roy Jackson Jr., Grandmother Beatrice C. Webb and Jessie M. Davis. She leaves to mourn her loving memory her mother Maxine C. Thomas of the home; two brothers Lincoln Q. Carnes II of Independence, Missouri., LaMont Burgett of Kansas City, Missouri.,  Two sisters  Elaine Allen of the City, Floretta Robinson. Three uncles Cornelius J Burton deceased (May 16, 2010) of Montreal-Quebec, Canada, Lyle Davis Jr. (Sabrina) of Independence, Missouri., Jerry L. McGill (Sharon) of Lee Summit, Missouri.; Four aunts Louise Mott of Independence, Missouri., Alice Washington of Kansas City, Missouri., Cecilia McGill of Baldwin Park, California., Frances Richardson (Edward) of Kansas City, Missouri., one niece Takia Jackson-McKinney of Sacramento, California., Lifelong special and devoted friend Tracie Herring of St. Cloud Minnesota., Special sister Angela Kennedy; a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and many, many friends. Missy will be dearly missed by all.
